Privacy statement
What is collected, why, who receives it, and how to stop it. There is less here than on most sites, and this page says so plainly rather than padding it out.
Who is responsible

What we do not collect
- No account, so no name, email address or password
- No location beyond the country your IP suggests
- No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies
- Nothing is sold or shared with data brokers
What we do process
Server logs
Our host records the IP address, time, requested page and browser string of every request. This is how any web server works, and it is what lets us keep the site up and spot abuse. The basis is legitimate interest. Logs are not used to build a profile of you and are not combined with anything else.
Analytics
If, and only if, you allow it, Google Analytics records which pages you read, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device you use. The basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the cookie settings at the foot of any page. Until you allow it, Google receives an anonymous signal with no identifiers attached, which cannot be tied to you or to any other visit.
We never see your name or email address, because the site has no accounts. Nothing here is sold, and nothing is shared with advertisers or data brokers.

How long it is kept
Server logs are retained for as long as our host keeps them, in the order of weeks. Analytics data is retained by Google for the period set on the property, and the cookies involved expire after two years. Your cookie choice is stored in your own browser for six months, after which you are asked again.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, or a copy in portable form, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Because the site holds no account and no identifier that points at you personally, in practice there is usually nothing to hand over — but ask, and we will tell you exactly what exists.
Withdrawing analytics consent takes one click: cookie settings. It is exactly as easy as giving it, which is the point.

Changes
If this statement changes materially, the cookie banner reappears and asks again rather than assuming your old answer still stands.
